Scotland Place Farm

The Hayter family has farmed at Scotland Place Farm, Stoke By Nayland since 1947. They are a traditional family-run livestock and arable farm in the heart of Constable country.

They supply Rare Breed Poultry, Speckled, Red and Light Sussex, Dark and Jubilee Indian Game,Ixworth, Wheaten Marans.

The Sussex is one of their popular birds and the oldest breed in the UK, originated in the county of Sussex. The Sussex is bred to be a dual purpose chicken. They are good layers of cream to light brown coloured eggs.

Indian Game is another popular breeds, bred in Cornwall in the 19th century. They were origially popular due to their large proportion of breast meat and unique flavour. Although called Indian Game they are not classed as game.
