Hi I started keeping chickens on the 15th of may this year. I would highly recomend the hobby to anyone who would let me babble on!! Currently I own three pullets r.i.r x blackrocks who are all laying the best eggs we have ever eaten.

You have chosen well. There are - IMHO - no better breeds than R.I.R and Black Rocks. The combination should be fantastic.
