SILKIE CROSS PEKIN

Chix Chickens is based in Sturminster Marshall, Wimborne,Dorset managed by Chris an enthusiastic 15 year old interested in poultry hatching and rearing, who is passionate about chickens and likes to share this with other people whilst earning some extra pocket money and money to feed the hens and buy fertilised eggs.

The products he stocks are ones that he has used and have worked for him so he is happy to promote them.

He hatches and rears chickens at home and loves caring for them until they are ready for their new owners.

His parents are great and encourage and support him in lots of ways to run this venture.

He breeds the following : Silkies, Pekins and hybrid hens - Columbian Blacktails and Brown Stars and occassionaly other breeds.

THE EGGS ARE FROM A LIGHT SUSSEX COCKERAL RUNNING WITH LIGHT SUSSEX HEN, WELSUMMERS AND BLUEBELL.SO FAR I HAVE HAD A 100% HATCH RATE.
